Buker’s primary responsibility will be to lead the bank’s digital strategy and drive innovation efforts, ensuring the institution remains at the cutting edge of digital banking solutions. Chesapeake Bank, part of the financial sector, continues to prioritize customer-focused technological advancements, positioning itself to compete effectively in the evolving banking landscape. 

Extensive Experience in Digital Banking Solutions 

With over eight years of experience working with community banks, Buker is well-equipped to enhance digital offerings at Chesapeake Financial Shares Inc. (OTC:CPKF)’s  Chesapeake Bank. In her previous role, she was instrumental in building Totem, a digital banking platform specifically designed for Native American tribes. This notable accomplishment made her the second Indigenous woman in the US to secure multi-million-dollar venture funding. Buker’s background in advising bank executives on fintech strategies and creating innovative platforms, such as FinXTech Connect, adds significant value to her new role.
