Petards Group plc (AIM:PET), a leading developer of advanced security, communication, and surveillance systems, is thrilled to announce that its subsidiary, QRO Solutions (QRO), has secured an order worth over £0.4 million for its in-vehicle Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) systems. This significant order, placed by an existing UK Police Force customer, is one of the largest of its kind ever obtained by the company.

The order specifically covers the supply of QRO’s QBox in-vehicle ANPR and ANPR/DVR systems, both of which offer cutting-edge surveillance capabilities for law enforcement. The systems are set to play a key role in enhancing security and vehicle tracking efforts for the UK Police Force. Initial deliveries are scheduled to commence in the first quarter of this year, with the full delivery expected to be completed throughout 2025.

Raschid Abdullah, Chairman of Petards Group plc, expressed his excitement over the deal, stating, "These are exciting times for QRO, and it is pleasing to see another of its customers placing a significant order for its ANPR systems. This order is a testament to the confidence our customers have, not only in QRO's cutting-edge technologies but also in the exceptional levels of customer support that the team provides."

The QBox in-vehicle ANPR and ANPR/DVR systems are known for their advanced features, including high-definition video capture, rapid plate recognition, and integration with broader surveillance networks. The success of this order is a strong indication of the growing demand for sophisticated security systems that offer greater efficiency and accuracy, particularly in law enforcement applications.

This latest contract underscores the continued expansion of QRO Solutions' presence in the law enforcement sector and highlights the increasing adoption of ANPR technology in public safety applications. The significant order also reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to providing top-tier solutions to its customers while maintaining exceptional standards of support.
