Light Science Technologies Holdings PLC (LSE:LST) has secured a new order valued at £537,000 for its Contract Electronics Manufacturing (CEM) division from a customer in the sports entertainment sector. This order is the fourth from this client since February, increasing the total number of units ordered to 20,000, with delivery anticipated in October and November.
Simon Deacon, Chief Executive Officer, expressed satisfaction with the ongoing success and growth within the sports entertainment segment of the CEM division. He noted the impressive pace and volume of follow-on orders from the client, who was newly announced earlier in the year. This repeat business underscores the division's strong performance and client satisfaction.
The company is confident in the division's prospects, bolstered by both its established client base and opportunities to attract new customers. The CEM division is projected to generate revenue between £9 million and £9.5 million for the year, aligning with earlier forecasts.
This latest development reflects Light Science Technologies Holdings PLC's continued progress in expanding its CEM division's footprint and reinforcing its market position within the sports entertainment sector.
