Oriole Resources PLC Confirms Positive Trenching Results at Mbe Prospect

Oriole Resources PLC {LSE:ORR}  has announced promising trenching results from its Mbe prospect, showcasing further signs of gold mineralization. The recent findings derive from six additional trenches, including trench MBT005 and partial results from MBT004, which targeted a smaller gold-in-soil anomaly located 500 meters east of trench MB01-N. Notably, trench MBT005 returned the best intersection of 7.00 meters at 0.60 grams per tonne (g/t) gold.

The remaining results for trench MBT004, along with those from the Phase 2 infill trenches, are anticipated early in the next quarter. These forthcoming results are expected to play a crucial role in shaping a maiden drilling program for the prospect.

Chief Executive Martin Rosser expressed optimism regarding the trenching results, particularly from the MB01-S sub-prospect, which encompasses a broader area of soil sample anomalies. He highlighted the mineralization levels observed in trenches MBT007 and MBT008, which showed significant mineralization across their entire lengths of 540 meters and 532 meters, respectively. These findings reinforce the belief that the Mbe prospect has strong potential for a significant gold discovery.

Additionally, BCM International is currently funding exploration efforts at Mbe, with a commitment of up to $4 million, further supporting the advancement of the project. As Oriole Resources continues its exploration activities, stakeholders will be updated on future developments and results.
