Clean Power Hydrogen PLC (LSE:CPH2) has announced the renewal of contract terms with existing customers Northern Ireland Water and Fabrum Solutions Limited for the supply of its 1MW Membrane-Free Electrolyser (MFE220). Under the new agreements, Northern Ireland Water will deploy one unit in Belfast, Ireland, while Fabrum Solutions is set to receive two units for use in New Zealand.
Chief Executive Jon Duffy expressed satisfaction with the renewed commitments, emphasizing the strong confidence that existing customers have in the MFE technology. He noted, "As we move into the commercialisation phase, the continued interest from our customers supports our commitment to advancing the next phase of growth to deliver a robust, industry-ready commercial product for the hydrogen industry."
The UK-based company, which specializes in developing membrane-free electrolyser technology, has extended the completion dates for these contracts to 2025. This follows the successful Factory Acceptance Test of CPH2's MFE110 model, which validated customer acceptance and confirmed the scalability of the company's proprietary electrolyser technology.
With these developments, Clean Power Hydrogen is entering a new commercial phase, with expectations of generating its first revenues in 2025 through these projects. The renewed contracts underscore the company's commitment to delivering innovative hydrogen solutions and advancing its position within the burgeoning hydrogen industry.
