Incanthera PLC has announced an accelerated launch of its Skin + CELL luxury skincare range, expanding its initial rollout beyond the expected timeline through the Marionnaud chain of stores across continental Europe. This development boosts the company's confidence in meeting its full-year financial targets.
Originally, Incanthera planned to introduce the Skin + CELL range in approximately 60 stores in Switzerland and Austria in September, with a broader European rollout anticipated at a later stage. However, following fruitful discussions with Marionnaud and its parent company, AS Watson Group, the company has opted for an earlier and more extensive launch across their European retail network, which comprises 1,200 stores in 11 countries. Specific details regarding this accelerated launch will be revealed next month.
The company stated that the initial production order for the Skin + CELL range, along with additional orders amounting to 350,000 units, will now be utilized for this expanded European rollout. These preparations align with Incanthera's goal to achieve projected revenues exceeding £10 million for the financial year, while also aiming for profitability.
Chairman Tim McCarthy emphasized the significant opportunities presented by the Skin + CELL brand, noting that ongoing discussions with Marionnaud and AS Watson include potential new product initiatives beyond the initial launch.
