Highlights

  • Initial Production Commencement: Touchstone Exploration Inc. has initiated production from the Cascadura C well pad, connecting vital infrastructure to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Expanded Processing Capacity: The installation of a new natural gas separator has increased the Cascadura natural gas processing plant's capacity to approximately 140 million cubic feet per day.

  • Production Testing Operations: Ongoing testing on the Cascadura-2ST1 well aims to optimize production levels, with plans to transition to the Cascadura-3ST1 well subsequently.

Touchstone Exploration Inc. (LSE:TXP) has announced the successful commissioning of the flowline connecting the Cascadura C surface location to the Cascadura natural gas processing plant. This connection facilitates the integration of the Cascadura-2ST1 and Cascadura-3ST1 wells into the existing infrastructure.

The Company has also installed a new natural gas separator, which enhances the processing capacity of the plant to approximately 140 million cubic feet per day. Current operations include production testing on the Cascadura-2ST1 well, with plans to progress to the Cascadura-3ST1 well in the near future. Isochronal tests are being conducted to evaluate the production capacity of both wells, which involves measuring flow rates and pressures at various choke sizes, followed by pressure buildup periods to assess reservoir performance. Throughout this testing phase, all gas produced will be processed for market distribution, with completion of testing operations anticipated within two weeks.

Paul R. Baay, President and Chief Executive Officer, emphasized the significance of this milestone, highlighting the potential for revenue generation from tested volumes. The focus will remain on determining optimal production levels to maximize recovery from this segment of the structure. Additionally, the strategic infrastructure established throughout the Cascadura field is designed to enhance operational efficiencies and reduce future cycle times from drilling to production.

Touchstone Exploration Inc. operates with an 80 percent working interest in the Cascadura field, located on the Ortoire block in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, with Heritage Petroleum Company Limited holding the remaining 20 percent.
