Extensive Industry Expertise
Constantin Cotzias serves as the European Director at Bloomberg LP. He holds several key roles within the company, including Global Head of External Affairs, Chair of Bloomberg Tradebook, and Director of Bloomberg Multilateral Trading Facility. His involvement in economic advisory extends to being a member of the Mayor of London's Economic Advisory Board and previously serving on Prime Minister Theresa May's Business Advisory Council.
Distinguished Career
Constantin has had a distinguished career at Bloomberg since joining in 2001 as Chief Counsel. He advanced to become CEO of Bloomberg's legal and regulatory news and research division. Before Bloomberg, Constantin was a senior mergers and acquisitions lawyer at Denton Wilde Sapte (now Dentons), where he provided counsel on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and IPOs across various industries including media, telecoms, technology, and energy. He also served as Chief Counsel of Denton Wilde Sapte's Moscow office from 1998 to 2000.
Academic and Professional Background
Constantin holds a bachelor's degree in Modern History and Politics and is a law graduate from the London School of Economics (University of London). He is a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales.
