Airtel Africa shareholders listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NGX) also have the option to elect between Nigerian naira and U.S. dollars for receiving their dividend payments. Similar to the procedure for LSE shareholders, NGX shareholders are required to make their currency elections by July 7, 2025. If no selection is made by this date, the dividend will automatically be paid in Nigerian naira.

Exchange Rates for Dividend Payments

The exchange rates that will be applied for these currency elections have been set based on the most recent data available. Airtel Africa has designated an exchange rate of U.S. dollars to Nigerian naira and U.S. dollars to British pounds as part of the final dividend processing. These rates are derived from values as of May 30, 2025.

For shareholders of Airtel Africa on the London Stock Exchange, the last date to trade shares and remain eligible for the final dividend is June 18, 2025. For those holding shares on the Nigerian Stock Exchange, the deadline is June 17, 2025. These dates mark the final opportunity to secure dividend eligibility based on shareholder registration.
