The stocks on the London Stock Exchange managed to recover Monday’s opening losses as Deliveroo announced its plans to target a valuation of £8.8 billion in its IPO even though uncertainty remained over increasing Covid-19 cases in Europe.
The markets reflected investor concern over Europe, where rising cases in France and Germany have forced administrations to reimpose lockdowns. Europe is also concerned about not receiving vaccine supplies from AstraZeneca. The AIM All-Share index was up 0.24 per cent at 1,200.62.

- Futura Medical Plc (LON:FUM)
The shares of the pharmaceutical company emerged as the biggest gainer of the index on Monday. The stock of the company rose as much as 46.96 per cent to GBX 67.60 on 22 March, from the previous close of GBX 46.00. The company went for an agreement with the US Food & Drug Administration for conducting studies for its treatment of erectile dysfunction.
- 88 Energy Limited (LON:88E)
The energy company was the second-biggest gainer on the index. Its shares were up 35.4 per cent on 22 March to GBX 1.50 from its previous close of GBX 1.11. The shares were up on the news of the successful completion of drilling a surface hole in North Alaska’s Merlin-1 well.
- Panthera Resources Plc (LON:PAT)
The gold development company was the third-largest gainer on the index. Its shares rose 33.90 per cent to GBX 15.80 on 22 March from the previous close of GBX 11.80.
- EQTEC Plc (LON:EQT)
The bioscience energy company was among the largest gainer on the index, and its shares increased by 20.00 per cent at GBX 2.28 on 22 March from previous close of GBX 1.90. The company said on Monday that as its pipeline continue to expand and its forecast for 2021 indicates profitability.
- Clear Leisure Plc (LON:CLP)
This investment company’s shares were up 19.15 per cent to GBX 2.80 on 22 March, from its previous close of GBX 2.35.
- Tremor International Limited (LON:TRMR)
The sixth biggest gainer of AIM index, the advertising-technology company’s shares rose 15.51 per cent to GBX 700.00 on 22 March from the previous close of GBX 606.00. The company on Monday lifted its annual guidance for 2021 saying that its performance in the first quarter was much ahead of what it was in the same period a year ago, which is historically its lowest quarter revenue-wise.
- Faron Pharmaceuticals Oy (LON:FARN)
The Finnish drug company was among the biggest gainers of the day as its shares rose 10.40 per cent to GBX 345.00 from the previous close of GBX 312.50. The company said on Monday that it found increased survival benefit among patients taking cancer treatment bexmarilimab.
- Premier African Minerals Limited (LON:PREM)
The investment company’s shares rose 10.39 per cent to GBX 0.26 on 22 March from the previous close of GBX 0.23, making it one of the-biggest gainers of the AIM index.
