Zenith Energy Ltd’s subsidiary to acquire Sidi El Kilani from CNPC

Zenith Energy Ltd’s (LON:ZEN) wholly-owned subsidiary Zenith Energy Netherlands B.V. has signed a conditional SPA (sale and purchase agreement) with CNPC International (Tunisia) Ltd.

  • The SPA is for the acquisition of a working interest in, inter alia, the North Kairouan permit and the Sidi El Kilani Concession, which also includes the Sidi El Kilani oilfield.
  • The company has reported that the Seller has agreed to sell, assign and transfer to Zenith Netherlands the Tunisian Acquisition on the terms and subject to the conditions set out in the SPA and the consideration payable by Zenith Netherlands is US$300,000.
  • On 8 September 2020, at the time of writing, GMT 10:35 AM, ZEN shares were trading at GBX 0.53, up by 0.05 points or 10.53% against the previous day closing price.
