Supermarket Income REIT Plc buys Bracknell based Tesco supermarket

Supermarket Income REIT Plc (LON:SUPR) has acquired a Tesco supermarket in Bracknell from a client of CBRE Global Investors.

  • The acquisition cost of £39.5 million (excluding acquisition costs), reflects a net initial yield of 5.7 per cent.
  • The acquisition of the Tesco supermarket will be financed via a £40 million increase in the RCF facility provided by HSBC of £100 million.
  • The Company also released an updated KID (Key Information Document) in accordance with the requirements of the PRIIPs (Packaged Retail and Insurance-based Investment Products) Regulation.
  • On 14 September 2020, at the time of writing, GMT 12:05 PM, SUPR shares were trading at GBX 111.25, unchanged against the previous day closing price.
