SSE Plc’s Arm SSE Renewables To Be Awarded Contracts Totalling 3,600MW

SSE Plc (SSE) has been successful in the UK's third Contract for Difference (CfD) Allocation Round and is set to be awarded contracts totalling 3,600MW.

In the Dogger Bank Wind Farms, SSE Renewables a part of SSE Plc has a 50% stake as part of a joint venture with Equinor.

Under the Contract for Difference, the three projects will receive guaranteed remuneration for 15 years for the low carbon electricity they generate.

Not only through the said 15 years but beyond that too, the projects will be important assets with significant earnings capacity.

On 20th September 2019, at the time of writing, GMT 13:08 PM, SSE shares were trading at GBX 1,243.50, up by 7.50 points or 0.61 per cent against the previous day closing price.
