Royal Dutch Shell Plc expects first-quarter production to be in a range of 920 and 970 thousand Boe/d

Royal Dutch Shell Plc (LON:RDSA) released an update to the first quarter 2020 outlook.

  • The company has said that the production is expected to be between 920 and 970 thousand Boe/d (barrels of oil equivalent per day).
  • The production also includes the extra volumes from the Egypt offshore assets that were earlier reported in the Upstream segment.
  • The company expects LNG liquefaction volumes to be in a range of 8.8 and 9.2 million tonnes.
  • The company also reported that as typically is the case in the first quarter, the dividend payments from joint ventures and associates are likely to be lower than in other quarters.
  • Trading and optimisation results are expected to be average and approximately in line with the fourth quarter of 2019.
  • On 31st March 2020, at the time of writing, GMT 08:47 AM, RDSA shares were trading at GBX 1,393.40, up by 68.20 points or 5.15% against the previous day closing price.
