  Chinese President Xi Jinping stated as on November 22, 2019 (Friday), that, China holds a positive attitude for a trade deal even as the two world’s largest economies are locked into a trade rift which is continuing for more than a year. The development pushed equities at the London bourse higher and at the time of writing (before the market close, at 02:10 PM GMT), the FTSE 100 index traded 100 points or 1.4% higher at 7,339.40 and registered an intraday high of 7,342.08 and a low of 7,238.47.
