Compass Group Plc (LON:CPG) has released a response to press speculation regarding a potential capital raise.

  • The company has stated that no conclusion has been arrived at either to proceed with a capital raise or with respect to the size or timing of any such capital raise.
  • The company has also stated that it has taken substantial measures to strengthen the liquidity in light of the disruption brought about by COVID-19.
  • As at 31 March 2020 net debt of the company stood at around £4.9billion, also the company was having £2.0billion in committed Revolving Credit Facilities.
