Burberry Group Plc (LON:BRBY) has informed about the change in the board of the company.

  • An Independent Non-Executive Director and Senior Independent Director of the company, Jeremy Darroch, would not be standing for re-election at the company's forthcoming Annual General Meeting scheduled on 15 July 2020.
  • During the period from 1 August 2016 to 6 February 2019, Darroch has served as Chair of the Audit Committee.
  • The company has further reported that with effect from 15 July 2020, Dame Carolyn McCall, will take on the charge of Senior Independent Director.
  • McCall, since 1 September 2014, had been an Independent Non-Executive Director of the company.
