Restaurant Brands Sales Impacted By COVID-19 During Q2

Restaurant Brands New Zealand Limited (NZX:RBD) sales in the second quarter were impacted due to Covid-19 related restrictions. 

RBD's total sales for the Q2 ending on 30 June 2020 were NZD 183.3 million, a drop of NZD 22.6 million or 11.0 per cent on the equivalent period last year. Total year to date sales were NZD 383.4 million, a reduction of 3.2 per cent on the prior year.

For Q2, total sales in NZ decreased by 28.8 per cent, Australia's sales dropped by 0.6 per cent, and in the US Q2 sales increased by 8.0 per cent.
