NZ Government Sets Up Fund to Support Arts and Music Sector

The Government of New Zealand has decided to provide a support package of $175 million to support the recovery of arts and creative sector from the impact of COVID-19.

  • The arts and creative sector contributes roughly $11 billion a year to GDP and employs about 90,000 people while supporting the wellbeing of communities;
  • The fund has been divided into five parts and the major potion of the fund is allocated to Creative Arts Recovery and Employment Fund.
