Nov 29 (Reuters) - Spain's Competition Watchdog (CNMC):

* SAYS FREEZES AENA'S TARIFFS FOR 2023

* APPROVES SUPERVISORY RESOLUTION ON AIRPORT CHARGES APPLICABLE BY AENA IN 2023, FREEZING THESE AMOUNTS AS OF MARCH 2023

* IN ITS DECISION, CNMC HAS CORRECTED AIR TRAFFIC FORECAST FOR YEAR 2023

* IT CONSIDERS THAT AENA'S PROPOSAL WAS TOO CONSERVATIVE, TAKING INTO ACCOUNT CURRENT INFORMATION AVAILABLE ON TRAFFIC DEVELOPMENT

* DECIDES TO IMPUTE TO 2023 TARIFFS PART OF HEALTH AND OPERATIONAL COSTS THAT AENA ASSUMED AND THAT IT IS ENTITLED TO RECOVER THROUGH TARIFF FRAMEWORK

* THIS ALLOWS THE EFFECTIVE FARE VARIATION IN 2023 TO BE 0% (EUR 45.6 MILLION) Source text: https://bit.ly/3EMBXOC Further company coverage: (Gdansk Newsroom)
