Health Canada nods first antigen rapid test for COVID-19 |Kalkine Market Update CA|

Canada to buy more than 20 million of the rapid antigen tests for COVID-19. This order comes a week after Health Canada approved the use of another rapid test from Abbott Diagnostics in the United States. Canada has also signed a deal with Abbott that will see the company shipped 20.5 million of the ruler-sized test devices to Canada.

Canada Revenue Agency introduces three new temporary income aid

CRA’s three new income support schemes are the Canada Recovery Benefit (CRB), the Canada Recovery Sickness Benefit (CRSB), and the Canada Recovery Caregiving Benefit (CRCB).

Applications for CRSB and CRCB are now live; CRB applications will not be accepted until Oct. 12.

CRCB will allot $500 per week for up to 26 weeks per household. Fossil fuel companies hide their carbon forecasts from investors. Fossil fuel companies have avoided providing investors carbon-dioxide emissions data.

Exxon Mobil Corp, which is set to release earnings data and production forecast data, has never made announcements related to its greenhouse gas emissions. This flaw in data transparency has been questioned by investors
