Highlights

  • RESPEC to incorporate silver assays into updated Majuba Hill geological model.
  • Integration to refine breccia geometry and guide future drill planning.
  • High-grade silver intercepts from earlier drilling to be included in project evaluation.

Giant Mining Corp. (CSE:BFG) (OTC:BFGFF) has expanded its engagement with RESPEC Company LLC (“RESPEC”) to include silver assay data from both recent and historical drill programs at the Majuba Hill porphyry copper-silver-gold project (“Majuba Hill”) in Pershing County, Nevada.

RESPEC will incorporate these results into its ongoing interpretation and technical review of the project. The update builds upon its previous mandate, integrating new core data from drill holes MHB-30 through MHB-36. This addition is expected to enhance the overall geological understanding of the mineralized system at Majuba Hill.

Project Model Refinement and Strategic Outcomes

According to the Company, silver will now be added into its internal project model, marking an important step in refining the geometry of breccia bodies and defining the broader mineralization framework. The updated model aims to evaluate the influence of silver content on project potential and the geologic controls associated with copper mineralization.

The refined interpretation is also expected to inform the Company’s forward plans, including new drilling priorities, scheduling of metallurgical testing, and the assessment of emerging exploration targets. This integration aligns with Giant Mining’s ongoing efforts to optimize the technical understanding of the Majuba Hill system.

Notable Silver Intercepts and Technical Context

As previously reported in the Company’s September 24, 2024 news release, the Majuba Hill project has returned significant silver results. Highlights include a 74.0-foot intercept grading 30.1 g/t Ag within a 218.0-foot interval averaging 73.4 g/t Ag and 1.35% Cu in drill hole MHB-27. These findings illustrate the polymetallic character of the system and the potential for silver to contribute to overall project value alongside copper and gold.

These intercepts will now be incorporated into RESPEC’s updated 3D model, which will quantify silver’s contribution to the project’s resource framework and economic considerations.

Next Steps

The integration of silver assay data represents a key advancement in the ongoing technical assessment of the Majuba Hill project. With RESPEC’s expanded scope of work, Giant Mining aims to refine its geological models, support strategic exploration planning, and enhance the project’s comprehensive understanding within Nevada’s established copper-silver-gold corridor.
