The Early Trades || What's The Latest With Bitcoin And Ethereum?

•  Bitcoin pared almost all the losses of Tuesday’s session after surging 6.7% on Wednesday to US$56 thousand 831.  Ethereum notched up by 5.9 per cent to US$3 thousand 430 US dollars on Wednesday. 

• ASX 200 seems to be witnessing a sluggish trade today.  The market is inching lower after setting a new 52-week high.  

• The NASDAQ fell 0.37 per cent extending the previous session's sell-off. 

• Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos has sold nearly $2 billion worth of Amazon stock in the past two days, as per the latest SEC filings.

• ASX listed iron ore players such as BHP Group, Fortescue Metals Group, and Rio Tinto are top gainers on the board.

• NAB announced a cash profit of AU$3.34 billion in the first half of 2021, owing to recovery in the economy. The cash profit was 94.8 per cent more than announced in the corresponding period last year.

• clipx Group said that its revenue from continuing operations dipped 0.7 per cent to $333.2 million, while cash net profit after tax rose 153.4 to $39.3 million.

• Another prominent media plater HT&E said that its Australian Radio Network (ARN) business saw an improving advertising market, with total revenues for Q1 up nearly 2.5 per cent on the prior period, with March 2021 an improvement as on March 2020.
