Apple reported to set up an alternate for Google search.

U.S. Department of Justice probes into Apple and Google partnership  Last week U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) launched a probe over the exorbitant payments that Google makes to Apple to be the iPhone’s default search tool.  According to some public estimates, DOJ quoted that Google pays Apple somewhere between $8 billion to $12 billion per year to be their default search engine. 

* Outlook  Apple seems to have been working on this search engine for a long time as the company has hired a number of search experts in recent years including Google’s head of search, John Giannandrea, in April 2018.
