Highlights

  • New Age Exploration has discovered new drilling targets at the Wagyu gold project in Western Australia.
  • The project is located in the same mineralized corridor as the substantial Hemi gold deposit.
  • Future drilling plans include a 3000m reverse circulation program to explore these promising targets.

New Age Exploration's (ASX:NAE) recent geophysical surveys at the Wagyu gold project in Western Australia have led to the identification of new prospective drilling targets. These findings place the project within a rapidly emerging gold mineralized corridor, aligning with the same geological trend as De Grey Mining’s (ASX:DEG) notable 11.2 million-ounce Hemi gold deposit.

The comprehensive surveys, including a third ground gravity survey and a second passive seismic survey, were instrumental in enhancing the geological mapping of the site. This enhanced understanding is attributed to the ability to ‘map’ geological formations beneath the surface, facilitating a breakthrough in grasping the potential mineralization across the Wagyu Gold project.

Significantly, these surveys revealed new gravity anomalies and confirmed targets, notably targets 8 and 10 situated on the eastern side of the project. These new anomalies have raised the possibility of additional gold-mineralized intrusions, paralleling those encountered during the 2024 aircore drilling activities.

To further explore these promising findings, plans are underway to initiate a 3000-meter reverse circulation drilling program. According to Joshua Wellisch, executive director at NAE, these undertakings pave the way for unlocking further potential at Wagyu, heavily supported by data that ties interconnected structures and anomalies across the tenement.

This exploration endeavor is conducted in collaboration with New Age Exploration, with participation in this effort contributing to deepening insights and increasing stakeholder engagement. As these operations move forward, all parties remain eager to capitalize on these new opportunities, setting the stage for the next phase of exploration at the Wagyu project.
