4DMedical (ASX:4DX), an innovative respiratory imaging technology company based in Melbourne, has announced a significant partnership with Perth Radiological Clinic (PRC), a major diagnostic imaging provider in Western Australia. This collaboration will enable PRC to integrate 4DMedical's cutting-edge XV Technology into its services across 16 clinics in Perth.

The agreement involves the implementation of XV Technology to enhance respiratory diagnostics through dynamic airflow visualization. The system's ability to measure and display airflow within the lungs allows for the early detection of respiratory deficiencies with unprecedented sensitivity. Unlike conventional imaging methods, XV Technology provides detailed, region-specific lung function data, enabling clinicians to diagnose with greater accuracy.

4DMedical’s proprietary XV Technology underpins the FDA-cleared XV Lung Ventilation Analysis Software (XV LVAS) and its CT-enabled counterpart, CT LVAS. These tools leverage existing hospital infrastructure to deliver advanced diagnostic insights. Both solutions will be utilized under the new agreement, with PRC offering CT LVAS reports through standard computed tomography systems and XV LVAS reports via fluoroscopy.

The partnership was catalyzed by a strong endorsement from PRC’s chest radiologists at the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists Annual Scientific Meeting. During the event, 4DMedical showcased the clinical benefits of XV Technology, which received significant recognition for its role in advancing respiratory care.

The contract, which extends until late 2025, will operate on a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model, reflecting 4DMedical’s broader approach to technology deployment. This model ensures seamless delivery of diagnostic insights while leveraging existing healthcare infrastructure.

PRC is a leading provider of diagnostic imaging services in the Perth metropolitan area. The collaboration with 4DMedical is expected to bring state-of-the-art respiratory diagnostic capabilities to the region, further cementing PRC’s position as a healthcare leader in Western Australia.

Professor Andreas Fouras, CEO and Founder of 4DMedical, highlighted the importance of the partnership, stating that it represents a shared commitment to enhancing patient outcomes through innovative diagnostic solutions. He expressed confidence that the collaboration would significantly benefit the Perth community by improving access to world-class respiratory care.

This partnership underscores the growing demand for advanced diagnostic tools in healthcare and positions 4DMedical (4DX) as a key player in the field of respiratory imaging technology.
