Australian exploration company, Musgrave Minerals Limited (ASX: MGV) has announced the completion of its initial test work on the Starlight gold lode at Break of Day on the Company’s Cue Gold Project.
Excellent total gold recovery has been confirmed by the test work, with 98-99% recoverable gold from conventional gravity and cyanide leach tests.
Exceptional gravity-only recoveries of over 80% were achieved in fresh rock and transitional zones, and oxide zones had recovery of over 50% in test work. Significantly, reagent consumption has been standard to low with no deleterious elements identified.
Break of Day resource update is slated for November 2020, while regional drill testing of Starlight analogue targets within the belt is underway.
Musgrave shares traded at $0.495, up by 1% intraday on 2 November 2020 (at 11:14 AM AEST).
