The residential auctions are going on amid the prevailing pandemic crisis. Adelaide's auction rate got severely impacted as the city entered into the lockdown this week. According to media reports, a significant percentage of final clearance was witnessed in the previous week, which reduced to around 41 per cent this week. The stand-out performer for another week remained Canberra with more than 80 per cent auction success rate.
The total homes that were scheduled for auction this week across the country were 1,791, and 73 per cent have reported a successful result. This week's volumes were the highest number of auctions carried out since April 2020.
