Highlights
- Maiden drill hole HH-GG25-001C at the Golden Gate Prospect intersected 189.2m @ 1.30 g/t Au from 34.1m, ending in mineralisation.
- Gold mineralisation begins close to surface and remains open to the north, south, and at depth.
- The results demonstrate the potential for a large shear zone-hosted gold deposit.
- RML has completed Phase 1 drilling with 10 holes, spanning 2,770.6m across a small part of the Golden Gate.
- The company is applying for a 50-hole drill permit to expand on the discovery.
Resolution Minerals Ltd (ASX:RML) (OTCQB: RLMLF) has reported a significant near-surface gold discovery from its maiden drilling campaign at the Golden Gate Prospect, part of the Horse Heaven Project in Idaho, USA. The company’s first drill hole at Golden Gate, HH-GG25-001C, returned encouraging gold values over a broad downhole interval of 189.2m at 1.30 g/t gold from 34.1m to 223.4m, ending in mineralisation, including
- 9m @ 2.32 g/t Au from 94.4m
- 6m @ 2.71 g/t Au from 131.8m
- 8m @ 2.24 g/t Au from 128.8m
Mineralisation occurred close to surface and remained open in multiple directions, highlighting the system scale potential. Furthermore, as per the current sample results, the gold mineralisation in HH-GG25-001C is open-ended at depth.
Gold mineralisation is associated with pyrite, arsenopyrite and arsenian pyrite, supporting the interpretation of an intrusion-related gold system (IRGS) — the same style seen at the nearby Stibnite deposit, located only 6km east.

Phase 1 Drilling Completed, Assays Pending
The company has completed its Phase 1 diamond drilling program, comprising 10 holes for 2,770.6m, testing a small portion of the Golden Gate target area. Assay results have been received for HH-GG25-001C, while results from holes HH-GG25-002C and HH-GG25-003C are pending, with additional batches expected in the coming months.
Early logging indicates the presence of similar sulphide mineralisation in subsequent holes, suggesting the potential continuation of gold-bearing zones. Elevated tungsten (0.315% W) was also identified, supporting the project’s multi-commodity potential.
Broader Exploration Plans
Resolution Minerals plans to fast-track the potential of all commodities at the Horse Heaven Project. A project-wide stream sediment program is nearing completion.
Following the recently completed drilling at Golden Gate, the company plans to apply for a 50-hole drill permit to follow up on HH-GG25-001C and additional targets.
At Antimony Ridge, the company is in the process of securing a drill permit for a large-scale drilling program aimed at testing the deeper extensions of the extensive shallow antimony mineralisation. Currently, environmental studies are in progress.
A trial using a man-portable drill rig has been completed, with results currently pending. Additionally, the company is collecting representative samples of stibnite-silica vein mineralisation from surface exposures at the site to support initial metallurgical testing and mineralogical characterisation studies.

RML shares were trading at AUD 0.070 per share at the time of writing on 28 October 2025.
