Highlights
- All necessary local permits and clearances have been received to begin the second aircore (AC) drilling campaign at Ibel South.
- The program aims to extend and confirm the broad, shallow, and high-grade mineralised zones identified in the maiden campaign.
- Termite mound gold anomalies near artisanal workings will be tested, subject to access.
- Drilling is scheduled to begin in early November, with Forage Technique Eau reconfirmed as the contractor.
- Ibel South lies within the highly prospective Kéniéba Inlier, a region hosting over 40 million ounces of gold in operating or developing mines.
Haranga Resources Limited (ASX:HAR) (FRA:65E0) has received all required local clearances and authorisations to commence its second aircore drilling campaign at the Ibel South Gold Project, located in southeastern Senegal.
The approvals include consent from the Department of Water and Forests for up to 4,000m of drilling across five planned lines, ensuring flexibility for the 3,000m program. Full support and formal approvals have also been granted by the Prefecture, Sub-Prefecture, and the Regional Directorate of Mines and Geology.
Details of the Second Drilling Program
The planned 3,000m drilling program will follow the maiden campaign that returned standout results, including:
- 20m @ 6.54 g/t Au from 12m (incl. 4m @ 14.64 g/t Au) in hole 25-IBS-AC-008
- 10m @ 6.35 g/t Au from 44m (incl. 6m @ 8.55 g/t Au, hole ended in mineralisation) in hole 25-IBS-AC-016
- 4m @ 14.83 g/t Au from 8m in hole 25-IBS-AC-017
- 25-IBS-AC-007: 4m @ 4.92 g/t Au from 4m,
- 25-IBS-AC-010: 8m @ 1.58 g/t Au from 24m.
The new program aims to test potential extensions to the existing 700m strike length and confirm the high-grade, broad and shallow zones discovered in the maiden AC program. Drilling will also target gold anomalies defined by termite mound sampling, particularly near artisanal workings that have not yet been drill tested, if access is secured.
Field preparations are currently underway, with drilling scheduled to commence in the first week of November 2025. The campaign will again be conducted by Forage Technique Eau (FTE), which successfully managed the first AC drilling program.

Sampling Strategy
Samples will be composited over 4m and sent to a certified laboratory for sample preparation and fire assay. Composite intervals showing elevated gold values will be re-analysed using single-metre samples for confirmation.
Strategic Importance of Ibel South
Following exceptional maiden drilling results, Haranga believes that the project could host a significant gold deposit. The project lies within the highly prospective Kéniéba Inlier of the Birimian Formation, a region that contains over 40 million ounces of gold in operating or developing mines.
HAR shares were trading at AUD 0.135 per share at the time of writing on 28 October 2025.
