Domino's Pizza Enterprises Limited

Domino's Pizza Enterprises Limited (ASX:DMP) is a Brisbane-based retail food outlets and franchise services operator. The company holds franchise for the Domino's brand network across the world. The Company's primary business segments comprise Australia/New Zealand, Europe and Japan with operation in more than seven countries through a network of approximately 2,400 stores in Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Japan, Germany, Australia and New Zealand.

Domino's Pizza Enterprises has a massive market capitalisation of AUD 3.94 billion with approximately 85.54 million outstanding shares. With the close of the market trading session on ASX on February 19th, 2019, the DMP stock last traded at AUD 45.900, down 0.326%, indicating an intra-day loss of AUD 0.150. Around 262,374 volume of shares were traded.

The stock price has a 52-week high of AUD 57.800 and a 52-week low of AUD 38.100. Although for the past six months, the stock performance remained at a negative 16.44 %, the YTD return has turned out positive at 13.14%.

For the FY2018 ended July 1st, 2018, the Group recorded a statutory net profit after tax (NPAT), attributable to the shareholders, of $ 121.5 million, which represents a year-on-year growth rate of 18.1%. This was mainly driven by strong sales growth and the addition of 308 new stores to the Group’s network. Looking at the segments’ contributions, the Same Store Sales (SSS) grew by 4.5% in Australia and New Zealand, 5.7% in Europe and 0.9% in Japan. Besides, the cash flows from operating activities increased by $ 52.6 million, up 39.6% on the prior year.

Collins Foods Limited

Collins Foods Limited (ASX:CKF) is engaged in large-scale operation and management of restaurants across Australia and Asia. It has three primary business divisions/restaurant brands comprising Sizzler Restaurants, KFC Restaurants, and Snag Stand joint venture outlets (Shared Services).

Collins Foods has a current market capitalisation of around AUD 745.67 million with approximately 116.51 million outstanding shares. With the close of the trading session on ASX on February 19th, 2019, the CKF stock last traded at a market price of AUD 6.600, up 3.125%, indicating an intra-day gain of AUD 0.200. The stock price has a 52-week high of AUD 7.350 and a 52-week low of AUD 4.950. The past stock performance has been decent over the last six months at 15.32%. Also, the stock has generated a YTD return of 6.49% so far.

For the financial year ended June 30th, 2018 (FY2018), Collins Foods achieved revenue of $ 770.9 million, a year-on-year growth of 21.7% relative to $ 633.6 million in FY2017. The statutory NPAT also recorded a growth of 16.1% to $ 32.5 million as compared to $ 28.0 million in FY2017. Besides, the underlying NPAT stood at $ 38.9 million, up by 13.3%, on $ 34.3 million in the prior year.

The same store sales from KFC Australia outlets rose by 1%. In addition, the net operating cash flow rose by 23.1% to $ 74.5 million. At the end of the period, the total FY2018 fully franked dividends of 17.0 cps were paid out.
