Sprintex extends convertible note and loan agreements with key backers
Financial flexibility to support expansion in Europe and international markets
Strategic contracts and clean air technology initiatives drive operational scale-up
Sprintex Ltd (ASX:SIX), a developer of clean air and energy-efficient technology, has reinforced its international growth strategy by extending a series of convertible note and loan agreements. The company is listed on the ASX 300 index and continues to strengthen its position across industrial and automotive sectors.
The funding arrangements aim to support Sprintex’s near-term sales pipeline and production goals, as the company intensifies its presence in Europe and other strategic global markets.
Renewed Support from Strategic Financial Partners
Sprintex confirmed the extension of a convertible note agreement with its largest shareholder, China Automotive Holdings Ltd (CAHL), along with extended loan facilities from Distacom Enterprises Ltd. These agreements reflect continued support from the company’s financial stakeholders at a time of increased operational focus.
The note with CAHL has been extended by a full year, while the short-term loans from Distacom have been pushed back for several months. All terms remain unchanged apart from the extended maturity dates, according to company disclosures.
Sprintex executive chairman Steve Apedaile emphasised that the extensions strengthen the company’s capacity to meet accelerating sales and delivery objectives.
Key European Trials and Strategic Contracts Progressing
Sprintex’s expanded access to working capital coincides with high-impact sales initiatives currently underway. The company is advancing a commercial trial of its Zero Liquid Discharge – Ultra Pure (ZLD-UP) system with the Van Drie Group, a major agricultural producer based in the Netherlands.
The ongoing evaluation is expected to translate into a large-scale rollout of stationary clean air units. This project complements other recent developments, including a strategic order from Turkey and new contracts tied to clean technology solutions for industrial waste conversion.
Broader Market Reach for Industrial and Automotive Applications
Sprintex has built a diverse product range centred on high-efficiency clean air compressors and electric motor technologies. The company’s G Series blower systems are deployed in sectors including wastewater treatment, pharmaceuticals, aquaculture, and food processing. These systems are designed to offer both performance and energy savings.
In the mobility space, Sprintex continues to enhance its footprint through advanced electric compressor systems tailored for hybrid and traditional vehicle platforms. The company’s legacy in twin-screw superchargers, now complemented by next-gen motor designs, also feeds into hydrogen and natural gas fuel cell development for the clean energy transition.
