  • Strategic withdrawal from TSX-V listing completed post-quarter

  • Copper mineralisation confirmed at multiple sites across southern Peru

Solis Minerals Ltd (ASX:SLM), listed on the ASX 300, continues to expand its exploration footprint across southern Peru, accelerating activity following recent regulatory and logistical milestones. The company operates within the copper segment, focusing on key projects including Chancho al Palo, Cinto, and Ilo Este.

Recent efforts have resulted in new field activity and further geological insights across a portfolio that spans the Ilo region, a mineral-rich zone that also hosts several large-scale operations by major mining companies.

TSX-V Delisting Follows Strategic Operational Focus in South America

Solis Minerals recently confirmed its withdrawal from the TSX Venture Exchange (TSX-V), streamlining its market presence to better support its operational focus in Peru. The decision, made effective after the quarter ended May, aligns with the company’s intention to optimise its capital markets strategy as exploration momentum builds.

According to company leadership, this transition allows increased concentration on advancing its wholly owned Peruvian copper assets. All remaining trading activity will now continue via the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX:SLM) and OTCQB market (OTCQB:SLMFF).

Drilling Underway at Copper-Gold Prospect Chancho al Palo

Diamond drilling has commenced at the Chancho al Palo project, a key copper-gold target located within Peru’s southern coastal IOCG and porphyry mineralised belt. The site comprises four adjoining concessions and has been subject to detailed mapping, sampling, and geophysical interpretation.

Initial core samples from the first completed hole identified breccia-hosted iron oxide copper-gold-style mineralisation, including visible copper sulphides and traces of gold. A second hole located to the west has also shown promising mineralisation. Laboratory results are pending, with assays scheduled to be returned in the coming weeks.

Advancements Across Additional Projects: Cinto and Ilo Este

At the Cinto copper prospect, further mineralised zones have been confirmed through new channel sampling. An induced polarisation (IP) survey has also commenced, aimed at refining drill target zones. Meanwhile, permitting activities continue in preparation for upcoming drilling across additional project areas.

The Ilo Este project is also progressing, with drill preparations set to advance shortly. Company representatives noted that recent funding initiatives have bolstered exploration capacity for the second half of the calendar year.
