Short-term financial performance of Select Harvest marked safe from Coronavirus impact

Select Harvest Limited (ASX: SHV) has reported concerning the Coronavirus outbreak, that its material short-term financial performance is not affected by the epidemic. However, acknowledging the underlying uncertainty, the company identified the potential risks and noted the following:

  • Harvest and the marketing campaign commenced for 2019-20 crop;
  • Company’s expectation of near term-softening in the price and demand of almond;
  • SHV to continue to market in its domestic and traditional markets such as India, the Middle East and Europe;
  • No immediate inventory issue for the raw materials sourced from China that can affect the company’s service.;
