Challenger Limited Releases Q1 FY20 Performance Results

Challenger Limited (ASX: CGF) reported its Q1 FY20 results, with total Asset Under Management (AUM) increasing by 3% ($3 billion) to $84 billion, on quarter to quarter basis, due to strong net flows across the business and positive investment markets.

  • Life net book increased by 5.2% QoQ, to $766 million for the quarter;
  • Total annuity sales up by 14% QoQ, to $842 million for the quarter;
  • Other Life sales $936 million, up $737 million on Q4 19.

At AEST 12:57 PM, the stock was trading at $7.390 per share, up by 7.883% from its previous close.
