Japan to provide $1.27 bln for three Bangladesh infrastructure projects

DHAKA, March 29 (Reuters) - Japan will provide about $1.27 billion to Bangladesh for three infrastructure projects, including construction of a new commercial port in the Matarbari area of the southeast, Bangladesh's finance ministry said on Wednesday.

The two nations signed agreements for the projects in Dhaka on Wednesday, the ministry said in a statement.
