Spain's former soccer federation chief, Luis Rubiales, is set to face trial for his unsolicited kiss of national team player Jenni Hermoso, after the High Court announced on Wednesday it admitted the case for proceedings. Rubiales is charged with one count of sexual assault, which carries a potential prison sentence of one year and one count of coercion for his alleged actions after the kiss, with 18 months potential prison time for that charge. Joining Rubiales in the trial are Jorge Vilda, the former coach of the women's national team, the team's current sporting director Albert Luque, and Ruben Rivera, the federation's head of marketing.
