It could be because investors may have rushed to scoop its shares after a regulatory filing revealed that AMC Entertainment (NYSE: AMC) had taken a 6.8% stake in National CineMedia.
National CineMedia owns around 47% of National CineMedia, LLC, which runs the US’ largest cinema advertising network.
