The breach, which was identified on June 5, has led to operational disruptions, including challenges in fulfilling and distributing customer orders, the company said. Law enforcement has been notified. “As we work through this issue, our customers, suppliers,and associates are our highest priority,” the company said in a statement on its website.

“We are working closely with them to minimize disruption as much as possible.” The food wholesaler, which serves as the primary distributor for Amazon’s (AMZN [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/AMZN]) Whole Foods chain under a deal signed last year, continues to assess the extent and consequences of the incident.
