The Gym Group Plc Reports Strong Earnings For H1FY19

The Gym Group Plc, (LSE: GYM) has reported strong results for the first half ended 30 June 2019. The company’s revenues post IFRS 16 were up by 26.9% to £73.988 mn from £58.32 mn reported in H1 FY18. Adjusted Profit before Tax surged by 53.3% to £7.11 mn from £4.64 mn in the corresponding same period. Adjusted Earnings stood at £5.48 mn, up 54.7% from £3.54 mn in H1 2018. On 29th August 2019, at the time of writing, GMT 15:19 PM, GYM shares were trading at GBX 245.50, up by 7.00 points or 2.94% against the previous day closing price.
