Following are those factors one needs to look at for building a peaceful life:

Choice and number of friends: This is something that impacts our peace mostly. What kind of people one hangs around with significantly impacts one’s way of thinking. Having many friends may be good for social gatherings but not good for mental peace. It is always recommended to have a few friends but good friends rather than having a bucket of them.

Follow your instincts: This is another thing that people ignore majorly. Sometimes your inner self knows better than what your eyes perceive. Thus, it is always suggested to follow what the instincts are telling, rather than completely relying on the outer judgments.

Never over-push yourself: In this hyper-active world of competitiveness and progress, people at times push themselves a bit too much in order to achieve greater heights. Pushing yourself is great for a happy living; however, one needs to know one’s limits and never overdo yourself.

One-day at a time: This is a great philosophy for a peaceful living. Everybody has certain goals that they want to achieve in their lifetime. However, stressing upon them daily wont serve the purpose. Thus, one should take one day at a time and move ahead at a good pace so that goals are achieved effectively and also no stress.

Reward yourself: This is the last point for a peaceful living. We don’t acknowledge ourselves, our efforts that we put each day to make our living and the living of people around us better. Thus, rewarding the self is a must; it motivates and cherishes our soul for the great work.
