When does CBA pay dividends?
CBA generally comes out with the announcement of dividends during the release of half-year results in February and full-year results in August. The bank pays dividends to its shareholders twice in a year. It pays interim dividend in March and final dividend in September.
For the period ending 31 March 2022, CBA delivered AU$2.4 billion cash profit despite the bank reporting a fall in operating income. Meanwhile, the bank had earlier announced up to AU$2 billion of on-market share buyback. CBA is set to conduct this buyback across the remainder of this year.
