 Market Update: Performance of Markets on 30th June 2020

At the close of the trading session on 30th June 2020, equity market of Australia settled in green. S&P/ASX200 witnessed a rise of 82.9 points or 1.43% to 5897.9. Most of the sectors on ASX closed in green such as S&P/ASX 200 Consumer Discretionary (Sector), which went up by 2.24% to 2,434.9. S&P/ASX 200 Information Technology (Sector) stood at 1,570.4 with a rise of 2.59%. At the end of the same trading session, All Ordinaries closed at 6001.3 with a rise of 1.45%.

On ASX, the share price of Collins Foods Limited (ASX: CKF) rose by 12.679% to $9.420 per share. The stock of NRW Holdings Limited (ASX: NWH) moved up by 10.029% and closed the trading session at $1.865 per share.

S&P/NZX50 experienced an increase of 1.76% and settled at 11,451. The share price of JPMorgan Global Growth & Income plc (NZX: JPG) surged by 8.06% to NZ$6.700 per share. The stock price of Fisher & Paykel Healthcare Corporation Limited (NZX: FPH) soared by 6.27% to NZ$35.600 per share. However, the stock of Wellington Drive Technologies Limited (NZX: WDT) tumbled by 14.89% to NZ$0.080 per share.

Collins Foods Limited Rose 12.679% on Australian Securities Exchange

Collins Foods Limited (ASX:CKF) has recently released its FY20 results; wherein, it reported revenue amounting to $981.7 million, reflecting a rise of 8.9%. The company experienced a rise of 6.3% in underlying EBITDA to $120.6 million. This includes KFC Australia underlying EBITDA margin of 16.8% mainly driven by sales leverage and effective cost control. The company declared fully franked final dividend amounting to 10.5 cents per ordinary share. This brought the total FY20 dividend to 20.0 cents per share. At the end of FY20, net debt of the company stood at $203.2 million. CKF would continue to look for ways to ramp up its growth through organic development and acquisitions. The stock of CKF is up due to the release of results for the financial year 2020.

NRW Holdings Limited Ended in Green on 30th June 2020

NRW Holdings Limited (ASX:NWH) recently stated that Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, Inc. has ceased to become a substantial holder in the company on 24th June 2020. For the 10 months ended 30th April 2020, the company recorded revenue amounting to $1.6 billion. For FY20, the company is on track to match the revenue guidance of $2 billion.
