Rihanna is ‘shining bright like a diamond’. She is now the most affluent female musician in the world. However, the dollars are not coming in from her music. Instead, her money minting machines are her business stakes.
Rihanna owns ‘Fenty Beauty’ jointly with LVMH, the French luxury goods company. LVMH is known for its holdings in top brands like Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton and their like.
‘Fenty Beauty’ is worth more than two billion dollars. The brand has an inclusive, 40-shade range of foundations. The unique range has attracted many customers in the past—primarily women belonging to darker skin shades.
‘Fenty Beauty’ is not the only billion-dollar brand she owns. Rihanna’s ‘Savage x Fenty’ lingerie line is also worth a billion dollars. Rihanna holds about 30% of the brand. Moreover, the latest rounds of funding have taken her stake valuations up.
With her businesses, she has grown out of her music niche. She has capitalised on her media presence and built her brand’s worth. She is not just a chart-topping musician but a billionaire businesswoman too.
