  • High-grade iron assay results confirmed at Tempest Minerals’ Yalgoo Project's Remorse Target.
  • RC hole WARDH0160 intersected 32m of magnetite-hosted iron, grading 39.34% Fe.
  • Multiple untested magnetite zones identified, each spanning 7 km in length.

Australian mineral exploration firm Tempest Minerals Limited (ASX:TEM) has announced encouraging developments at its Yalgoo Project, revealing high-grade iron assay results from its latest drilling activities at the Remorse Target.

Notably, RC hole WARDH0160 has recorded a substantial 32m down-hole intersection of magnetite-hosted iron, with grades reaching up to 39.34% Fe. These findings, part of the ongoing investigation into a copper-zinc soil anomaly, highlight a significant opportunity for enhanced iron exploration alongside base and precious metals.

Furthermore, the company reported the presence of multiple untested zones of magnetite mineralisation, each spanning approximately 7km in length, with additional results anticipated in the coming weeks.

Moving forward, Tempest Minerals intends to conduct ongoing analysis of drill results as they become available, while anticipating the potential for further high-grade magnetite and base metal intercepts as drilling progresses. The company also plans to re-evaluate the iron potential of the Yalgoo project in light of new data, using it as a calibration for future exploration efforts.
