Australian yellow metal explorer, Horizon Minerals Limited (ASX: HRZ) continuing its mining ahead of schedule reported the production of first gold from WA-based Boorara Gold Mine, lying 10-kilometres east of Kalgoorlie-Boulder.
Grades through the mill have been in line with expectations, and the company is carrying out processing at expected throughput rates and gold recoveries.
First ore processing campaign commenced on 17 July 2020 with first gold produced on the 23 July 2020 for shipment and gold revenue beginning before the end of July.
Formal grade reconciliation update is anticipated on completion of the first mill campaign, scheduled for completion in late July.
Post the significant update, HRZ stock edged up by 3.5% to AUD 0.150 (as at 12:22 PM AEST)
