CSL Limited (ASX:CSL) notified the market that it had priced a new private placement of USD 750 million on 6 May 2020. The placement has an average life of 11.5 years and a weighted average interest rate of 2.68 per cent.
CSL mentioned that it will strengthen the Company’s current debt maturity profile. The placement comprises of 4 maturities (as indicated in the table below).
CSL states that the proceeds raised from the new debt will be utilized for general corporate reasons. The debt issue is planned to close in late May.
