Liberty Bond

It derives its name from the issuance of a bond by the US federal government in 1917 to fund allies? efforts in world war 1. These bonds offer a fixed percentage of return every year and are generally raised by governments in cases of calamities such as the 9/11 attack on the US, which led the government to raise funds through Liberty bonds.
