PNM consists of 15,428 miles of transmission and distribution lines and has a 2,982-megawatt generation capacity. It is known as the largest electricity provider in the state and claims to provide its services to over 530,000 residential and business customers in the following regions:

The Federal Energy Regulatory and New Mexico Public Regulation Commission authorizes PNM. It has acquired 5,962 cable miles of underground distribution lines, 3,389 circuit miles of electric transmission lines, 255 substations, and 6,077 miles of distribution overhead lines by December 31, 2020.
TNMP is engaged in owning, operating, and providing transmission and distribution services mainly to Texas’ small to medium-sized communities. It claims to provide electricity to over 256,000 homes and businesses in over 70 communities in Texas. It includes 9,613 miles of transmission and distribution lines.
Under the provisions of the Texas Public Utility Regulatory Act and Texas Electric Choice Act (TECA), TNMP provides its services.
It had acquired 7,282 pole miles of overhead distribution lines, 110 substations, 983 circuit miles of overhead electric transmission lines, and 1,348 circuit miles of underground distribution lines by December 31, 2020.
TNMP delivers transmission and distribution services to Retail Electric Providers (REPs).
