Founded in 1992, Evraz Plc is a UK-based multinational vertically integrated steel manufacturing and mining company and is also a leading producer of infrastructure steel products with low-cost production along the value chain. The company has operations in the US, Russia, Canada, Kazakhstan, and the Czech Republic. Its internal consumption of iron ore and coking coal is covered by its mining operations. It is one of the top-50 leading Russian brands. The company is listed on the London Stock Exchange as LON: EVR and is a constituent of the FTSE 100 Index.  

The company mainly operates through three segments that include Steel, Coal, and Steel North America. The steel segment uses local sources of raw material to produce steel products in the CIS that is further sold to domestic infrastructure and construction projects and its vanadium business is based on processing vanadium slag from steelmaking operations. The coal segment offers raw materials for its steel mills and supplies coking coal to domestic coke and steel producers. Its sites include Novokuznetsk, Mezhdurechensk, and Mezhegeyugol. The Steel North America segment is a leading steel manufacturer built on the pedigree of successful steel companies. The Steel North America segment offers steel, rails, oil tubular goods, and large-diameter pipes through its six manufacturing facilities in Regina, Saskatchewan; Portland, Ore; Calgary, Camrose; Pueblo, Colo and Read Deer, Alberta, as well as 18 fully owned scrap operations across the US and Canada.
